Co-Founder & Principal
Ronnie Pelusio is a founding partner of Pel-Ona Architects & Urbanists, and a licensed Architect and LEED Accredited Professional. With a diverse skill set and a detail-oriented approach, he effectively manages teams through all phases of code analysis, land planning, entitlement, architectural design, permitting, and construction administration. Ronnie excels at hand-sketching site and building designs, capturing the team’s vision and guiding it to fruition.
His first-hand experience as a developer on multi-family infill projects has equipped him with a strong background in creating and analyzing proformas against various development scenarios. As a member of the City of Boulder’s Landmarks Board, Ronnie gains valuable insights into public processes and local government dynamics. He has also served on the board of multiple professional organizations and Homeowners’ Associations, which has informed his design decisions regarding the end user and long-term management. These experiences give him a unique perspective that is reflected in his approach and sensitivity to the roles of the private developer, public official and resident or tenant.
Prior to co-founding Pel-Ona Architects & Urbanists with Korkut Onaran in 2010, Ronnie was a senior associate at Wolff Lyon Architects from 2003 to 2010. He graduated at the top of his class, earning a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Syracuse University, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Communications from Ithaca College. Ronnie has also studied abroad in the architecturally, environmentally and culturally rich countries of Italy and Botswana.
